Stage II : Indian National Astronomy Olympiad (INAO)
Based on performance in NSEA, the top 300 students in order of merit at each level (Junior and Senior) qualify to appear for the of INAO (Junior & Senior) respectively, which helds in January every year.
Syllabus : The syllabus for INAO (Junior/Senior) is broadly similar to that for NSEA (Junior/Senior) with high difficulty level.
